Workers Health and Safety Centre, Radiation from Cell Phones

June 6, 2011.  The Workers’ Health and Safety Centre is quick to respond to the World Health Organizations classification of radio frequency radiation as a “possible human carcinogen”. 

They list precautionary measures recommended by the European Environment Agency (2009), by Dr. Devra Davis, and by the Canadian Government’s Parliamentary Standing Committee on Health (2010) and mention France Gelinas’ private member’s bill, Bill 128, An Act to increase cell phone safety in Ontario, that has passed its first reading.  Click here for pdf.
